**Detail:** The qualitative observation study took place in a specialist research facility in a general hospital. Spiritual Healing was provided by 4 healers registered with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers. Twelve (12) patients with breast cancer undergoing long-term hormone treatment and who found the effects onerous, self-referred themselves and were given ten weekly sessions of approximately 40 minutes each. **Conclusion:** `The positive effects of Spiritual Healing included alleviation of the physical side-effects of their treatment, increased energy levels, enhanced well-being, emotional relaxation, and reengagement with precancer activities. Although 1 participant admitted considering a drug holiday prior to joining the study, none of the participants felt tempted to stop their hormonal treatments while receiving Spiritual Healing. These qualitative findings indicate that Spiritual Healing has the potential to support patients with breast cancer in the maintenance of their long-term orthodox treatments. Duchovní léčení poskytli 4 léčitelé registrovaní u Národní federace duchovních léčitelů. Dvanáct (12) pacientek s karcinomem prsu podstupujících dlouhodobou hormonální léčbu, u kterých se vyskytly nežádoucí účinky hormonální léčby, absolvovalo deset působení za týden, každé po přibližně 40 minutách. **Závěr:** `Pozitivní účinky duchovního léčení se projevily ve zmírnění fyzických vedlejších účinků léčby, ve zvýšení energetické hladiny a posílení pohody, emocionálního uvolnění a opětovného zapojení do aktivit provozovaných před nástupem rakoviny. Ačkoli 1 z účastněných přiznala, že před vstupem do studie zvažovala vysazení léků, žádná ze zúčastněných nepociťovala během duchovní léčby pokušení přerušit svou hormonální léčbu. Tato kvalitativní zjištění svědčí o tom, že duchovní léčba má potenciál pro podporu pacientů s rakovinou prsu při zachování jejich dlouhodobé ortodoxní léčby.
