Dr. Harbans Singh has completed his BAMS from Punjabi University, Patiala in 1998, M.D (Kayachikitsa) from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla in 2003, Ph.D. (Kayachikitsa) from Rajasthan Ayurveda University, Jodhpur (India) in 2008, PGDHM from Madurai Kamraj University in 2014. He has completed his Fellowship in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from University of New South Wales, Australia. He has also completed 6 month certificate course in Diabetes which is jointly awarded by BMJ, Fortis C-DOC New Delhi and Royal College of Physicians, London. He has also been awarded D.Sc (Honoris Causa) by Common Wealth Vocational University, Makaunga, Kingdom of Tonga. He had worked as Associate Professor, Department of Medicine at Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab. He is presently working as Research Officer (Ay.), Scientist-3 in Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Patiala (Punjab) under Central Council of Research in Ayurvedic Science, New Delhi, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India and having more than 13 years research experience. He has more than 30 publications of National and International repute. He is engaged in various clinical research projects in the field of respiratory medicine including SARS-COVID-19 and hepatology. He is also a member several national and international medical and research organizations.
